  1. I can verify.

    Tone 1 --> Volume 3

  2. I assume Vol 2 to output. Is Tone 1 and Vol 3 to be left unconnected?

    1. Tone 1 is connected to Volume 3 and Volume 2 goes to output.

  3. This vero layout has a few components less than the schematics I've seen published (like a couple 10uf caps and a few resistors) why is that?

    1. I used this schematic:

      Not sure why the other schematic differs. It is not uncommon that circuits gets small revisions...

  5. I want to build this circuit, but I would like to remove the bass pot, as I would use it all the way down. Is it as easy as removing the pot and the 2.2uf electro, leaving just the 47n cap?

    1. I guess you can hardwire the Bass control into minimum posistion by omitting the pot, replace the 1k resistor at column 6 with a10-12k resistor. And move the top leg of that up one row. And yes, keep the leftmost 2,2uF. cap.

  6. Thanks for your quick answer! I built it before reading your suggestion. What I ended up doing was just omiting the pot and the 2,2uf cap. My understanding of the circuit is that the bass pot is adding capacitance towards the 2,2uf cap when you turn it up. Then I upped the 47n cap to 68n, just to slightly increase my minimun bass content without the pot. It worked for me and it sounds as I expected, so happy days.
    On the other hand, I think d2 should be reversed, efectively having two diodes pointing to each direction.

    Anyway, great circuit, great layout, and amazing website!
