yes, it looks odd but if you look at the schematic at Kitrae's Big Muff page there is clearly a 2,2k resistor in line with the power supply. SThe schematic is at the bottom in this link. http://www.bigmuffpage.com/Big_Muff_Pi_versions_schematics_part2.html
Thank you ,,, I see from big muff schematics ,, the 2k2 is correct .. confused with scotchy diode on photo .... tell me one last think ,, I complete the board and it’s sound amazing but it’s noisie .. the big muffs make noise without put input jack ?
Good morning fuzzhead ... I think the 2k2 resistor after 9volts is wrong ,,, must the D5 there . Correctly ?

ReplyDeleteYes, Big Muffs can be noisy depending on component values and transistors. V6's and late V3's is said to be the more noiser variants.
